Al-Futtaim represents some of the world's most popular and desirable automotive brands including; Toyota, Lexus, Hino, Honda, Volvo, Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge.We are looking for a Parts Warehouse Supervisor to be based in Al Ain. The purpose of this role is overseeing a wide variety of Warehouse activities, including shipping, receiving spare parts goods and maintaining inventory records.
You will manage a team of direct reports and will take responsibility of the following:
* Supervise and assist in daily Warehouse activities for receiving and shipping spare parts goods
* People Management responsibilities including Hiring, Training, PlanningA and Assigning daily duties for staff working under Warehouse Supervisor.
* Conduct performance Appraisal for warehouse staff, addressing performance issues and resolve problems by providing adequate training and guidance where necessary.
* Continuously improve warehouse operations through the use of Warehouse Kaizan storage principles and there by maintain accuracy of stock.
* Conferring with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments to serve internal Customers.
* Interpreting company policies to workers and enforce best safety Regulations and Practice
* Measure and report effectively all Departmental activities.
* Maintain Warehouse work instructions for all tasks involved.
* Order departmental requirements such as technical Service, Vendor procurement…etc.
* Responsible for log in system complaints with concerned department/Line Manager.
* Maintain appropriate Bin location for spare parts storage considering volume and nature.
* Determine appropriate logistics to Pick /Drop goods whenever required
* Ensure all warehouse visual control monitoring boards are updated daily.
* Ensure all stocked parts are having labels with Article numbers & Description. * Minimum 3 years in Warehouse Management with similar experience and background
* Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating maintenance instruction, procedures and manuals.
* Knowledge of general business computer software and proficiency in Micorsoft office ( Word, excel & Outlook )
* Preferred knowledge and working background in SAP system
* Should be healthy and physical requirements including a variety of standing, walking throughout the day and will require lifting and pulling of inventory from shelves.
