Bebe designs and produces a distinctive line of contemporary women's apparel and accessories. Bebe offers women distinctive style and inspirational fashion bearing an unmistakable hint of sensuality. We are looking for a Store Manager for our store in Bahrain who will maximize store contribution through exploiting every opportunity to drive sales, reduce stock loss and maintain cost controls and will assist in delivering the highest levels of motivation and development of team members and individual and store compliance with all company regulations and procedures. Other key responsibilities include: Sales: * Maximises sales and exceeds store budgets, through assistance in and supervision of effective and continuous space, stock and seasonal management, and highest possible levels of customer service. * Uses sales and space reports to assist in correct allocation of space within store, and seasonally. * AdvisesA Operations on out of stock departments / lines, slow sellers or price sensitivities. Assists in planning and organising on-time delivery of key / promotional events. Visual Merchandising: * Maintains highest possible standards of in-store visual impact. * Follows brand / layout guidelines correctly followed to deliver brand values and ensure corporate 'handwriting' is evident in presentation. In conjunction with visual merchandising team, helps ensure up to date look to window displays. * Drives sales floor presentation and housekeeping / recovery principles to the highest standard by regular walk through and corrective action / coaching Inventory Control: * Ensure store achieves defined stock loss targets. * Constantly seek to improve staff awareness of stock loss issues. * Decide store layout and stock positioning and manages stock availability * Advise on out of stock shortages, slow sellers or price sensitivities * Constantly seeks to improve staff awareness of stock loss issues. Staff Management:  * Administer all staff issues * Carry out staff communication, daily briefs, product knowledge and on the job coaching. * Identify individuals with potential within the store and formulate action plans or allocate additional responsibilities to further their development. * Ensure a development plan is in place and implemented & evaluated for every member of the store team. Administration: * Ensures store enacts and is fully compliant with all required administrative procedures according to company guidelines and within deadlines. * Assists in effective communication of issues and ideas between store and operational management. To be sucessful in winning this role you should be able to demostrate the following: * minimum of three years experience in a similar level role * solid understanding of the retail (preferably fashion) industry in the Middle East with demonstrated experience in driving sales and building customer loyalty * excellent communication skills in English and Arabic * strong leadership and relationship building skills. * strong management skills * strong commercial acumen * knowledge of MS Office applications Established in the 1930's, the Al-Futtaim Group initially operated as a trading enterprise.
