Qualifications: B.Sc in Mechanicanl Engineering with minimum 15 years of experience in relataive work. Duties and Responsibilities: Specific duties of the Plumbing Design Engineer shall include but not be limited to the following tasks: • Perform deliverables and documentation such as calculations, drawings and specifications related to plumbing and piping systems. • Perform review on design functions including equipment selection, system sizing, fixture calculations, product specifications and design layouts for domestic plumbing systems, industrial plumbing systems and medical gas. • Assist in coordinating all aspects of the project design with other team members including design and trade team members. • Perform quality control of design documents. • Be responsible for code compliance. • Research and provide advice on new and innovative products and technologies. • Attend and participate in industry related conferences and seminars. • Direct and lead a group of junior plumbing design engineers. • Other duties and tasks as assigned by the Principal Engineer. Person Specification, Skills, and Knowledge: • Good verbal and written communications in English. • Computer literacy (MS Office applications) • Must have excellent working knowledge of design engineering for plumbing and piping systems with an understanding of fire protection systems with experience in buildings, residences, offices, mixed use complexes.
