This role has been created as part of a global team to transform our operational and executional performance to deliver the pre determined F17 strategy. Reporting to the CP+A manager, this role will is pivotal in the delivery of both brand and customer facing teams as it turns our strategic requirements into reality in store. Aligned to distinct customer groups, the successful candidates will own the how we take our plans to market from identifying what/where/how in terms of execution, ensuring that the teams have the right tools, on time through to management of investment as part of the embedded M+E process. The purpose of the role is to own the activation and execution of our brand plans and strategy in store. Successful candidates will work in support of individual customer teams and own the activation cycle from end to end. This starts with mapping the universe, translating the brand plans into executable programmes, planning where/how to activate, all supported by first class M+E leading to a culture of continual improvement. This means that you will become the expert in your locations, understanding shopper and customer behaviours, and act as the interface between the marketing/innovation team and the customer teams. -Manage Promotional and Investment Planning /Promo & Trade Investment Planning, Governance, M&E -Activity Planning with Programme Adaption & Application -Execution Standards - Airport & Market Capacity Mapping PLUS Execution Standards by channel -Strategy to Action Can take predetermined strategic goals and translate them into business deliverables -Removes complexity Can translate complex and sometimes conflicting priorities into simple plans which are easy to execute -Commercial Curiosity Is permanently restless, never satisfied with the status quo and driven by a continual quest to improve performance through execution -strong track record in Sales at a NAM level ideally with experience in at least 2 areas of Sales or 3 years + experience of customer marketing/ commercial planning -Depth and breadth of knowledge and the ability to coach others at all levels in all Diageo Way of Selling Capabilities and tools.
