Charterhouse is working with a locally based offshore oil production company who are looking to hire an IT Systems Analyst with connectivity experience. This role will be responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of radio and telephony communication systems at all company locations. You will set up and configure complex wired and wireless communication environments that support simplex / duplex voice and video applications. In addition you will manage the usage of the telecommunications system and its resources on a regular basis to identify bottlenecks and carry out appropriate tuning. You will also coordinate with vendors and ISPs to troubleshoot and maintain the critical communication systems. The successful candidate should have a bachelors Degree and a minimum of 5 years’ experience deploying and maintaining medium scale radio and telephony communication and navigation systems. You should have hands-on experience with Motorola handheld radios, TAIT VHF / UHF base stations, NBDs, Sailor Marine radios and Jotron / Becker Air Band radios. You should also possess in-depth knowledge of PTP and PTMP radio networks. During the last ten years, Charterhouse has been operating across Dubai, Abu Dhabi and the GCC Markets.
