Company: Our client is leading cost management consultant in the Middle East. They have always viewed property and construction assets as having complex, integrated lifecycles. This consultant delivers a portfolio of services along this lifecycle, from concept through design and construction to the management and maintenance of a project or asset. They are one of the leading asset management and construction consultants, established for more than 100 years. Duties and Responsibilities: Reporting to the Project Controls Manager for the overall estimating, cost control and coordination of the project in Qatar. •Lead and manage a team of Quantity Surveyors •Developing and maintaining estimating and cost control and reporting standards and procedures •Preparation and maintenance of the project cost break down structure, budget and integrated cost report and cashflow •Establishment and maintenance of a program cost benchmarking database •Analysing and reporting on Consultants and Contractors cost reports and cashflows •Preparation of monthly and weekly reports •Preparing and making presentations Qualifications and Experience You will have: •BSc in related subject or equivalent experience •MRICS or equivalent •10 years post graduate experience •Sound knowledge of all engineering and commercial aspects of major civil and infrastructure projects including roads, bridges and utilities •Experience in conceptual estimating, cost planning, financial accounting, expenditure profiling, cost reporting and forecasting costs at completion •Ability effectively monitor and analyse cost, identify trends and recommend corrective actions •Experienced user of MS Office, advanced MS Excel user and Primavera Contracts Manager •Excellent report writing skills •Previous experience in the Middle East is an advantage •Fluent English both written and spoken Please send your CV immediately to apply for this position.
