Position Objective: Planning, Scheduling & Project Reporting, Earned Value Analysis & Management, Cost Engineering & Estimating, Change Management & Controls and Risk and Delay Claims. To ensure the proper utilization of available resources (e.g. manpower, equipment), forecast/ plan resource requirements ensuring those resource requirements are fulfilled To ensure proper resource planning and management for project profitability and timely execution Acts as the focal point of client relationship management Responsibilities: Ensure contract obligations are met and are being properly executed and administered. Monitor budget vs. cost, highlight variances and produce mitigation plans. Ensure that revenue and cost forecasting are accurately projected. Verify accuracy of weekly reports detailing status, performance, critical paths and analysis for client and management. Produce monthly cost forecast, incurred cost reports and invoice reports. Coach planning/scheduling team in producing recovery plans, and review weekly schedule updates. Studying quarterly forecast of project including value and costs. Developing, monitoring, & controlling strategic project’s budget. Selecting strategic procurement approach, changes control and valuations. Monitoring master construction program to archive the milestones. Preparing time schedules, project forecast review and financial plan. Developing and following up the project time schedule and progress follow up. Developing, reviewing, monitoring, & following up all issues related to cash flow (cash in /out) Overseeing subcontractors progress invoices and close out. Developing, preparing, & updating project cost related forecasts. Developing, preparing the Claim / Variation orders Cost Methodology & negotiations with the Client Support the Strategic team in the management of preparing reports and key communications as required. Reviews and provides commentary of the daily escalation report for project managers. Assisting in establishing / delivering formal reporting arrangements on project progress for the client and project. Facilitate and lead planning workshops/meetings to discuss and assist contractors / consultants to close their planning / project control issues. Making recommendations for possible acceleration. Manage the document control system and communication flow for the project. Review and manage weekly progress reporting presentations for the client. Distributing project advice for any site progress / planning concern that may impact site progress. Manage weekly and monthly progress report protocols / templates for progress reporting and monitoring progress against it. Manage the preparation of design programs for projects under design and guideline programs for projects to be started / under-progress. Ensure design, procurement and construction progress is monitored and managed for compliance with contract requirements. Education: Bachelors degree in Engineering MBA Project Management Professional Certificate Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in construction industry, field activities and Project Management capabilities Technical know-how in electro-mechanical works related to power generation, transmission and distribution Knowledge about present and future market trends regarding product pricing Knowledge of Tendering Estimation, Design and Testing Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership techniques and coordination of people and resources Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service Knowledge of planning programs and project risk management Parker Consult is the fastest growing Management Consultancy in the Middle East.
