Qualified Social Worker - Hospital TeamSocial Care jobs, North London Job ref:QSW Rate: £20.00 to £26.00 per hourDate posted:5 June 2014Position type:TemporaryStart Date: Location:North LondonSector:Social Care Vacancy details A Fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced Qualified Social Worker who comes from a statutory hospital discharge background to work in a well established Local Authority in North London. My client is interested in hearing from experienced Qualified Social workers (minimum 12 months Post Qualified Experience) who are willing to work on a full time basis 09:00 to 17:00 five days a week. Due to the nature of and fast paced environment the ideal Qualified Social Worker must have recent experience with in a hospital setting and be able to hit the ground running with minimal supervision. Are you a Qualified Social Worker The experienced qualified social worker will be expected to complete proportionate assessments for service users in A&E to set up services to prevent admission to hospital (including reablement Services and use of Step down Beds). This role would include remote working and would have off site management cover as required. This is an immediate start for several experienced Qualified Social Workers for a North London Hospital team. Ideal applicants must have extensive experience within a statutory Adult setting – preferably some of it in a Hospital Team. During the interview process you will be expected to discuss at length your experience of all relevant legislations and processes. The ability to start at short notice is also a real advantage. In order to apply for this position you must be registered with the HCPC and hold a requisite Social Work Qualification (Degree etc) and have at least 12 months recent experience working with vulnerable adults preferably in a Hospital setting. If this is not the case please do not apply as I will not be able to progress your application. In return my client is offering a full time position for the ideal candidate for a minimum of 3 months with the high possibility of extension and other opportunities becoming available with in the local authority.
