General Accounting Job Description & Requirements Ensure the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions. Prepare and records asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing information. Maintain and balance subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions. Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts, preparing a trial balance, reconciling entries. Summarize financial status by collecting information, preparing Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss, and other Statements. Produce payroll and printing checks. Managing and handling petty cash, Social Security. Complying Legal requirements. General Accounting responsibilities - Monthly account reconciliations and schedules - Maintain fixed asset schedules - Maintain prepaid schedules - Maintain credit card balances and payments - Prepare payment schedules - Salaries and monthly payments THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE Will have at least 2years of experience in accountancy - Bachelor degree in Accounting or similar fields. - Working knowledge of accounting software - Excellent computer and excel skills - Good analytical and reporting skills - Auditing skills To those who are interested please send us your CV ( with photo ) on the following e-mail: [email protected]
