Encore Driving have been selected by our blue chip client to recruit 7.5 Tonne (C1) Drivers on their behalf. Job Title: 7.5 tonne drivers Location: Magna Park, Leicestershire Pay rate: £7.75 per hour (PAYE), £9.00 per hour (Ltd Co) Shift: Mon - Fri 0530 to 0800 start Benefits: Driving up to date, well maintained vehicles, this role benefits from on-going work that has a genuine opportunity to lead to a full time position. Both PAYE and LTD company drivers are welcome and rates start from £7.75 per hour.As an approved JAUPT DCPC training centre Encore are able to offer free DCPC training after a qualifying period. Other benefits include free uniform, weekly pay, Guaranteed 8 hour shifts, overtime and a driver referral bonus scheme. The Job: 7.5 tonne drivers are required to join the home delivery operation of a company based in Magna Park. Your role will involve completing up to 15 deliveries per day delivering furniture to private addresses. As part of a 2 man crew you will be required to deliver the furniture into the customers homes, unwrap and in many cases set the furniture up. The Candidate: You will be flexible and able to remain calm under pressure. The ability to demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills and an attention to detail is essential. You must have no more than 6 points on your licence (minor offences only). You must also have a good working knowledge of EU Drivers Regulations and an understanding of Road Transport Working Time Regulations.
