To provide a high level of customer service at all times both internal and external, by being aware of the product categories and being able to assist and advise customers in a professional manner.
Take every opportunity to sell to the customer, through:
* Acknowledging and responding to individual needs of the customer
* Based on information gained, select appropriate products for the customer, (considering age of the child, trends and budget)
* Promoting best-sellers and current WOW offers to increase basket size

* Using different sales techniques and channels, according to the situation/activity (tills, dressing room etc)2.آ آ آ Till Operation
As and when required the JH operates the till in the store, the JH is aware of the procedures required for cash operation and maintains a high level of accuracy in all transactions by:
* Operating the till accurately and efficiently
* Managing queues at the till point
* Talking to the customer about their purchase
* Converting refunds to exchanges
* Selecting the appropriate wrapping materials for the product
* Closing the sale, by thanking the customer and encouraging them to come back3.آ آ آ Product Knowledge
The JH is responsible to actively learn the range of products in the store and be an expert in their department, to be able to advise customers on the right product to meet their requirements and ensure increased revenue through add on sales.4.آ آ آ Receiving Deliveries
The JH assists with receiving and displaying of goods in accordance to the approved procedures to ensure products are available for customer purchase. This contains:
* Receiving and storage of new arrived products
* Following up instructions on presentation of the product together with the VM
* Being involved in checking the inventory and orders
* Taking care of the storage room and make sure it is organized and clea5.آ آ آ Other
* Ticketing & Pricing: the JH has to comply with in store procedures with regard to pricing and ticketing to ensure that customers are aware of product prices and to protect the company against any loss related to incorrect pricing (mark up and mark down)
* Merchandising Principles: the JH has to liaise with the VM in the store to make sure that Toys R Us has the best possible looking stores in its product category. As well JH is responsible for maintaining a clean and tidy store.
* Other events: where required the JH assists in other events such as stock take, new store openings and fun events.
