CH2M HILL Assistant Business Manager - Abu Dhabi, UAE
Responsibilities
Assist /Independently Handles
Account / Finance bridge between Business Group and Corporate shared service.
Monthly reports on performances, comparing, variation analysis
Business Development reports
Billability / utilization reports
Look ahead for man power resources
A/R & WIP Reports and follow up,
Conducting monthly Project Reviews, ad hoc reporting and analysis.
Serve as an “early warning†clearing house to senior management for significant business deviations from plan and forecast in terms of gross margin and overhead.
Commercial Support for bidding. Responsible for providing oversight on major proposals from a pricing, cash flow, contract and risk perspective.
Coordinate with Corporate Shared Services departments (Legal, Insurance, Tax, Treasury, etc.) on issues related to BG activities
Commercial support for execution of project.
Basic data gathering for Forecast/ Business plan. Managing and coordinating the budget and forecasting process and presentation to HO.
Costing for Project Management Consultancy (PMC) projects.
Scrutinizing PMC project toward any unapproved expenses being charged.
Assigning charge codes.
Scrutinizing O/H charge code for any unapproved charges.
Entering plan/forecast data in Oracle/Hyperion.
Help in Mid Month forecast and tracking variation compared to Plan/Forecast.
Liaise with Project Manager for monthly Estimates At Completion( EAC).
Various MIS.
Liaise with Region Accounts/Finance
Coordinating with region to ensure company policy and risk management procedures are understood and implemented.
Reporting to Business Manager/Market Manager
Basic Qualifications
Requirements
Chartered Accountant with 2-3 years working experience in similar type of organization in UAE or other country
