Ref: KP603-169 Reporting directly into the CFO, you will have the responsibility of overseeing the finance function on a day to day basis covering: accounting, reporting, financial controls, risk review, compliance and to effectively manage the month end routine. More specifically your duties will encompass; reviewing and improving adequate financial controls are in place and adhered to for all key financial operations, facilitating the internal/external audit process - acting as a key point of contact and cash management/treasury of the business. •Perform regular reviews of business performance using benchmarks and KPIs to highlight and suggest improvements to overall effectiveness. •Oversee the timely, complete and accurate/validate relevant activities related to month end closing for all regions. You will be a key provider of technical support to the business on all financial accounting matters. •Ensure full support to FSSC function to ensure all statutory standalone financials are prepared and issued within the deadline set by the holding company. •Ensure compliance with all statutory, legal, taxation and Internal control requirements, including regulatory compliance for setting up business in new territories. Be an integral part of the risk management and fraud prevention directive. •Degree holder – Bachelors in Finance with a professional qualification (ACCA/ CPA/ ACA, etc.) A high-calibre professionally qualified candidate with at least 2 - 3 years post-qualified experience, Big 4 background is a must. •8 years minimum experience in Accounting/finance •Strong working knowledge of an ERP system •Excellent Excel, Word and MS office application skills. •Added advantage: CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner) Majid Al Futtaim Fashion provides a platform for the introduction of world-class fashion and retail brands in the region, developing their presence across the Middle East.
