As a result of our continued growth we have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Project Management and Construction Management (PM/CM) Division. You will be responsible for technically assessing the contractor’s submittals in accordance with MEP strategy and procedures, contract specifications and established KEO Project Management Policy and Procedures. Preference will be given to qualified candidates who can demonstrate experience in the following: • Extensive knowledge of Mechanical construction techniques, procedures, British and American codes and standards. • Expertise in all aspects of mechanical engineering within construction, including HVAC, fire protection, plumbing and drainage, and underground utilities. • Ability to maintain a positive client relationship and professional firm image. • Understanding, identifying and assessing project risk. • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written communication. Qualification: You will require a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Membership of a professional Engineering Institution would be beneficial. e.g. Chartered Engineer or PE. You will have a minimum of 12 year’s post graduate experience ideally within an Architectural, Engineering or Construction consultancy environment in the Gulf Region.
