Ref: LP683-50 The Planning Engineer will be responsible for developing the most appropriate method and sequence of construction activities, in conjunction with the Project Manager, in order to ensure the project is completed timely, safely, & on budget. Key Responsibilities: Schedules, plans and oversees the entire program of work. Plans, organizes, and coordinates planning activities. Selects the most appropriate techniques and logical sequence of activities to complete project scope. Determines appropriate logistics solution and resources. Set up issue alerts for all important contractual and milestone dates. Prepares cash flow, charts & histograms on planning projects. Verify critical path and interfaces between design, engineering, procurement and execution. Monitors progress periodically and compares it with the baseline planning. Updates the schedule based on inputs received from project team. Prepares Progress reports. Prepares Labor histograms. Accumulates, collects and analyses data and information required for planning. Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering is a must. Minimum 3 years of related experience in Roads and Highways projects. Thorough knowledge of Primavera P6 is essential. Experience and demonstrated skill in supervising cost estimates, cost control, and overall project reporting activities.
