They are looking to recruit a Contract Legal Affairs Director to be based in UAE Duties & Responsibilities: •Responsible for drafting, negotiating and reviewing agreements and commercial contracts, dealing with third parties and developing contractual terms & conditions templates. •Management of the legal services related to real estate development and sales. •Representing the organization from legal action and penalties and adverse judgments. •Liaising with Governments and Municipalities to ensure that the legal requirements are met to avoid any litigation. •Drafting and reviewing legal documents and contracts such as lease agreements, consultancy, and procurement contracts. •Facilitation for all legal matters to ensure that the best interests of the organization are maintained. •Overseeing external legal services. Qualifications & Experience •UAE Power/ Energy & infrastructure/Construction Experience Required LLB or LLM from a UK / US recognized university/ •QS Contract administration in a plus. •Total minimum 20 years’ experience in Contract Legal affairs and in 7-10 Years within the UAE / •Gulf region in a Key position in the same area. •Experience of construction contract management related to time and cost claims in the Middle East and Africa Region. •Excellent working knowledge of laws and regulations and contracts agreement Propel Consult delivers a service in step with the needs of both our client companies and candidates.
