Enabling patients with mental health illness to receive a truly integrated and holistic approach to their treatment, regardless of complexity or severity, thanks to the knowledge and expertise of the multidisciplinary clinical teams. You will be working within a 45-bed acute mental health hospital offering a wide range of inpatient, outpatient, day patient and therapy services. The hospital is committed to providing patient-centred care. Treatment plans are tailored to each patent’s specific needs by our consultant-led, highly qualified multidisciplinary clinical teams. This is a high profile and demanding role to suit an individual with ambition and a natural flare for leadership within a clinical setting. Responsible for part of the management and development of the hospital’s clinical strategy it is essential that the successful candidate has a proven track record in the delivery of clinical services across a range of mental health specialties. Commercial acumen, quality focus and cost consciousness are essential characteristics of the person right for this role. The management of clinical governance, safeguarding and Mental Health Act issues is a key element. A willingness to develop new ideas and services for business growth is essential. It is a requirement that the post holder is a Registered Mental Health Nurse.
