Job Description  The Project Planner and Controller position is immediately required to work on the EPF (Early Production Facility) Project in Al-Uqlah, Shabwa. The EPF is a plant under construction in block S2 (OMV YEMEN). The Project Planner and Controller will be joining an established team comprising Site Construction Leader and Mechanical & Electrical Supervisors . In addition to developing the Project Master Programme the project planner will work closely on a day to day basis with the site construction leader to monitor and/or amend the contractor’s baseline programme this will also include reporting to the project manager any risks, opportunities and any mitigation strategies to maintain the project completion date. Duties and Responsibilities  -Develop and update the project master schedule to include all stakeholders requirements and interfaces; -Schedule all activities associated with assigned projects to produce an integrated critical path schedule, update as required, and report potential problems / problem areas; -Resource load schedules and maintain a primavera base earned value system on project. Analyze and report project progress and manpower requirements; -Enter and maintain project budgets/estimates in ERP system; -Update and evaluate the accuracy of the project forecast by assessing actual cost incurred and physical progress achieved for all phases of project; -Assist project manager in presentations / reports to the company management; -Work closely on a day to day basis with the planners of the company to monitor and / or amend the contractor’s baseline programme work; -Review actual construction progress and prepare and maintain an updated project master schedule; -Attend site with site team as necessary to get snap-shots in time updates on actual progress on site -In an effort to manage and mitigate delays (if any); -Where necessary support the project team with review and analysis of the programmes to assist with resolution of claims and change orders; -Prepare and update, on regular basis, project cash flow forecasts; Education and Experience  -Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or construction management; -Minimum 3-5 years experience in CPM scheduling with additional cost engineering experience is preferred. Skills Required  -intermediate to expert skills with primavera and MS office software  -Ability to plan and manage multiple tasks  -Effective analytical and problem-solving skills -Effective communication skills both verbally and in writing with superiors, colleagues,  and individual both inside and outside the organization -Ability to work well as an integral part of a project team that includes mechanical, electrical and instrumentation engineering disciplines.   Application Process: Please send your application to : [email protected]          NOTE: Applications for this job are not through Yemen HR website.
