Ref: KP112-182 Our Client is lookign for a medical officer that serves as a key figure in the clinical services team working with and reporting to the CMA. The medical officer works collaboratively and under the guidance of the CMA to assist in the day to day running of the clinical component of the service. Day to day, the medical officer provides support for clinical oversight for the clinical members of the Company and works to progress the clinical processes, policies and procedures to the highest standard. Roles and Responsibilities • Supports the CMA on clinical planning issues and make recommendations on clinical direction. • Develop clinical governance processes/ process improvement • Develop Clinical Policies, procedures, guidelines and protocols • Manage clinical strategy implementation Professional and Academic Expertise and Selection criteria Desired Skills and Experience Requirements: • The Ideal Candidate is a dynamic, innovative and enthusiastic doctor who has to be registered (or be able to be registered) with the HAAD or MoH, UAE • Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in Emergency Medicine. • Medical qualifications in emergency medicine • Clinical experience in the EMS services • Experience of clinical management experience • Possesses the ability to work to tight deadlines • ability to multitask at high level • Excellent Microsoft word computer skills • High level analytical skills, including ability to analyse requirements • Capacity to assist in development and implementation of growth strategy, including working with a variety of stakeholders. • Ability to communicate with cultural sensitivity, and engage stakeholders effectively to achieve positive outcomes Main Duties & Responsibilities: The post-holder will demonstrate a firm commitment to the principles of clinical governance, including: • Participating in clinical audit and complaints proactively. • Providing clinical advice with a requirement to be on-call for clinical support. • Participation in multidisciplinary meetings providing clinical support • Supervision, teaching and training where necessary • Become familiar with NA policies and procedures and further develop these as directed Role Specific CLINICAL SKILLS • Ability to follow directions and instructions; Ability to accept and act on constructive criticism; To be competent in resuscitation situations; Up to date knowledge of BLS/ALS algorithms. • To have a knowledge of NA KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)• Ability to independently increase workload to match demand. • To attend meetings and write comprehensive timely and regular reports and updates. • To attend meetings at various organisations with multidisciplinary groups and nationalities. • To be culturally sensitive and to be able to work in a multicultural environment • Professional and empathetic patient manner. • To be able to appropriately deputise on clinically related matters on behalf of the CMA. • To assist in clinical education, clinical competency assessment and remediation programmes. • Professionalism is expected at all times. • Interpersonal skills allowing teamwork and productive partnerships with all health staff.
