The hospital is within easy reach of the major road networks of south-east London and is also within walking distance of Greenwich train and underground stations. The hospital is one of the leading providers of men’s psychiatric intensive care services to the NHS in south-east England. Both the PICU and the male low secure service provide a challenging but ultimately rewarding environment in which to work. Our team of consultants, doctors, RMN nurses, therapists and support workers deliver recovery based and outcomes focused care to our service users and support them to move along their care pathway. The requirement for a nurse will be to work in a male psychiatric intensive care unit which specialises in acute crisis management treating men (18-65 years) during the most acutely disturbed phase of their mental illness. The unit prides itself on a strong collaborative and multi-disciplinary approach to care in a safe and secure environment. You must have a minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience.
