Ref: HP704-278 Responsible for undertaking the tasks required to coordinate the project progress pre and post contract and assist in the overall management of projects Key Responsibilities/Primary Duties: Assist the Development Manager in the day to day reporting of progress. ? Assist the Development Manager with the procurement process, and prepare the procurement reports. ? Review and give feedback on design submissions and site progress. ? Assist the DM in preparing the monthly reports and any other reports. ? Assist DM in preparing presentations. ? Ensure efficient communications among peers and subordinates at all times to ensure effective transactions processes are undertaken in a timely and accurate manner. ? Ensure the document management database is updated regularly with all accurate and relevant information. ? Coordinate & communicate with other department (sales & marketing, finance ...etc). ? Monitor and report on contractors & consultants progress. ? Monitor & control project programme. ? Monitor and control all regulatory requirements. ? Any other task assigned by the DM as seen necessary to complete the work. ? Assist in the review of project design, programme and cash-flow. ? Assist in the management of projects risks. Job Complexity and Professional Settings: Strong communication skills ? Strong reporting skills. ? Strong technical skills (engineering). ? Quality management. ? Positive and Proactive Team player Job Competencies: Relevant University/higher education Bachelor degree preferably in engineering or design. ? (experience on hotel related work is considered a plus). ? Strong English communication skills: writing & speaking. ? 6 -10 years experience in working within a team related to the construction industry (PM, engineer, etc…). ? Software literacy required. o Microsoft office, word, excel and PowerPoint o AutoCAD, Photoshop, in-design considered a plus.
