Ref: HP602-1093 Based in Kuwait this rewarding but challenging role will offer the successful candidate the opportunity to apply their commercial and business development expertise to promote and grow the presence of International trade and services into the Kuwaiti market. The principal focus for this role is on the Infrastructure, Education, Food and Sustainability sectors, which represent key areas of opportunity for Australian businesses within Kuwait. Key responsibilities for this high energy interactive role will include market research and analysis, strategy development, engaging in marketing initiatives and developing a high level business network. Business development professionals who have an innate ability to identify private and public business opportunities available in the market, have the aptitude to translate these opportunities into viable business ventures for prospective international investors and traders will be successful in this exciting and autonomous opportunity. The successful candidate will be degree qualified in a relevant area (International Business/Economics/Marketing) with a minimum of 5 years experience in a business development or similar role. Industry knowledge in one or more priority sectors such as Infrastructure, Education, Food and Sustainability with a demonstrated track record of achieving results within a commercial environment. All applicants must have a valid driver’s licence and be fluent both in written and spoken Arabic and English.
