1.    Job Title: Consultants 2.    Position 1: Sanaa 3.    Position 2: Aden 4.    Employer: Center of Business Administration (CBA) – Sana'a/ Aden 5.    Reports to: Project Manager 6.    Experience: Two Year Experience 7.    Duration: 1 Year 8.    Deadline: March 23, 2014 9.    Background:  In January 2012, the Center of Business Administration (CBA) established the Civil Society Organizations Management Unit (CSO-MU) in partnership with Responsive Governance Program (RGP- USAID). The main purpose of this partnership is to strengthen the Yemeni civil society organizations (CSOs) by bridging the information and credibility gap existing between the donors and recipient organization. In 2013, CBA has extended the CSO-MU module to a unit within Aden University with the purpose of expanding the coverage to nearby governorates. By the end of 2013, CBA has offered trainings and consultancies to 100 CSOs in 14 governorates. The capacity building of targeted CSOs develops their sustainability and accountability to ultimately help them function effectively and enable them to play their legitimate role in the upcoming critical period.   10.    Duties and Responsibilities:  Provides a full range of administrative, clerical and office support including, but not limited to: 1.    Gather relevant information; planning the schedule of activities to implement TORs; providing technical materials for assignments; and developing relevant documents and reports;  2.    Develop tools for the assessment (checklist, questionnaire, etc);  3.    Conduct pre-auditing assessments of the capacity of CSOs and write descriptive and analytical reports;  4.    Based on the findings of the Pre-Assessment, develop a work plan and schedule for correction actions;  5.    Ensure that the assessment inputs are in alignment with the existing auditing tool; 6.    Conduct field visits to CSOs and provide on-hands trainings;  7.    Prioritize the constraints identified;  8.    Formulate activities to address the constraints identified;  9.    Use the information gathered via assessments and field visits to write monthly descriptive and analytical reports;  10.    Conduct Post-Assessment after the correction actions and write a final report;  11.    Primarily report to the Project Manager;  12.    Prepare a descriptive and analytical report presenting the main findings and suggesting appropriate options and recommendations;  13.    Responsible for Training and Consultancy department sustainability.    Qualifications and Skills: •    A degree in finance, business, accounting, management or public relations. An MBA can lead to entry at a higher level. •    Fluency in Arabic and excellent written and oral English skills •    Strong communication skills.  •    A good team player. •    Ability to handle multiple priorities and to work to deadlines. •    Excellent problem-solving skills. •    Enjoy responsibility and working in a high-pressure environment. •    Familiar with report writing. •    Excellent user of basic computer applications.  11.  Application Process: Send CVs and copies of credentials to [email protected] Only short-listed candidates will be contacted for interviews .   NOTE: Applications for this job are not through Yemen HR website.
