1.    Job Title: Coordinators 2.    Position 1: Sanaa 3.    Position 2: Aden 4.    Employer: Center of Business Administration (CBA) – Sana'a /Aden 5.    Reports to: Project Manager 6.    Experience: Three Year Experience 7.    Duration: 1 Year 8.    Deadline: March 23, 2014 9.    Background:  In January 2012, the Center of Business Administration (CBA) established the Civil Society Organizations Management Unit (CSO-MU) in partnership with Responsive Governance Program (RGP- USAID). The main purpose of this partnership is to strengthen the Yemeni civil society organizations (CSOs) by bridging the information and credibility gap existing between the donors and recipient organization. In 2013, CBA has extended the CSO-MU module to a unit within Aden University with the purpose of expanding the coverage to nearby governorates. By the end of 2013, CBA has offered trainings and consultancies to 100 CSOs in 14 governorates. The capacity building of targeted CSOs develops their sustainability and accountability to ultimately help them function effectively and enable them to play their legitimate role in the upcoming critical period. 10.    Duties and Responsibilities:  Provides a full range of administrative, clerical and office support including, but not limited to: •    works under the supervision of the CSO-MU Manager in delivering projects within the constraints of scope, time and cost to agreed levels of quality, within the CBA's governance and project management framework;  •    meets with the project team, ensuring that each team member understands their responsibilities and accountabilities; •    serves as the point person for the project; •    coordinates with CSOs; •    coordinates with the trainers and consultants; •    coordinates with all stakeholders; •    follows up with the academic, professional and assessment issues; •    develops and delivers progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations as required; •    relays information between the Project Manager and Client; •    responsible for all paperwork required; •    effectively communicates project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear manner; •    estimates the resources needed to achieve project goals; •    drafts and submits budget proposals, and recommends subsequent budget changes where necessary; •    delegates tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel; •    identifies and resolves issues and conflicts within the project team; and •    conducts other miscellaneous tasks not specifically mentioned in this job description.    11.    Qualifications and Requirements: •    A bachelor’s degree (preferably in Management or Humanities) •    Fluency in Arabic and excellent written and oral English skills •    Relevant experience with CSOs •    Experience with Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access); •    Ability to handle multiple tasks with ease. •    Effective communication skills. •    Ability to use technical office equipment. •    Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.   12.    Application Process: Send CVs and copies of credentials to  [email protected] Only short-listed candidates will be contacted for interviews NOTE: Applications for this job are not through Yemen HR website.
