Ref: NP543-25 Front Desk Activities - Answer telephone and direct calls to appropriate party; - Take and relay messages; - Prepare correspondence and documents; - Schedule appointments; - Greet all arriving guests and direct to appropriate party; - Give information to prospective students and parents; - Contact parents to arrange collection of students in the event of timetabled events being cancelled; - Monitor visitor access and maintain security awareness Maintain Registers - Maintain late-arrival register and ensure that all late students sign in; - Review the daily class registers and update where necessary with late arrivals; - Ensure knowledge of staff movements in and out of organization; - Print daily fire register. Administration - Performs variety of administrative functions and uses word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software. - May assist with overflow work from administration officer and executive assistant. - A minimum of two years of formal training in secretarial or office practices. - Strong and effective verbal communication and administrative writing skills in English; - Analytical and problem solving skills - Decision-making skills - Stress and time management skills Artan Holding is a 100% Qatari privately owned company with various high profiled subsidiaries across the State of Qatar, such as Doha British School, Qatar Skills Academy, House of Architecture and Interiors.
