Ref: NP574-19 General Position Definition The general position is to act as a focal point for wells for SAP related work. In Shell we use SAP to order and Pay our Vendors for the materials and Services callout by the field team. In SAP there are several modules that have to be maintained. Position description - Purpose To consistently implement SAP Blueprint in the Wells department of Shell Iraq Petroleum Development. Position description - Accountabilities Act as the SAP focal point in the Wells Department Maintain processes in wells to ensure that all venture SAP requirements are met. Set up and maintain the principles and external compliance requirements within the Majnoon wells department. Interface with finance department to ensure alignment within the venture Support Wells staff in the Requisition to Pay ( RtP) process Assist Wells Contract & Procurement team to set-up contracts in SAP Responsible for the various SAP activities from creation of Network Order & Work Order, raise Purchase Requisition. Position description - Dimensions Developing organization which will ultimately run cadre 30+ drilling rigs. Direct reports: initially none Position description - Special Challenges Achieve top quartile performance. Working in a new venture which is changing (growing) rapidly Experience and Qualifications required - Degree in Business Economics or equivalent is an advantage - A good understanding of Cost and Planning is an advantage - Good IT skills is essential - And reasonable knowledge of the English language in words and writing - Knowledge of wells is an advantage Working for a world-class innovative energy company gives you a platform from which you can propel your career.
