Ref: NP650-09 +This role will be expected to provide input on recommendations on how to improve processes and refine the controls in the Finance department. To ensure the accuracy of the GL of the Seabed Geosolutions JLT Finance function. + Reporting + The month end close process to timetable actions are complted to schedule. + Ensuring accuracy of the ledger accounts, both P+L and BS. + Review the monthly results as against Budget and month to month variance. + Horizontal and vertical analysis of the monthly reporting pack. + Providing feedback and corrections to the GL as a result of the review process. +Liaise with financial controllers to ensure accuracy of monthly reporting, as well as development of business knowledge to better execute the role. + Responsible for Balance Sheet reconciliations, completing over 30 balance sheet reconciliations in a month. + Ensure corrections from Balance sheet reconciliations process are fed into the GL. + Payroll processing and journal entry. + Prepare supplier payments at the instruction of the Accounts Supervisor Genberal Ledger, to ensure segregation of duties from AP function. + Post bank transaction entries in GL + Responsible for invoices, and posting of invoices / accrued income in the GL + Liaise with auditors and involvement with year end audit. + Assist the Accounts Manager with cash flow forecasting as required. + Act as a point of references for all GL enquries. + Support and analysis as required for any queries into the GL. +Act as vacation / sickness cover for the Accounts Supervisor General Ledger • Expertise required in accounts. May be qualified by experience or undertaking formal accountancy qualification. • Needs to be able to organize and prioritise tasks to ensure tight month end reporting deadlines are met..
