Ref: KP643-74 Job Summary: •Undertake research and prepare reports that are required by the Company and external governmental entities when needed. •Gather, analyze and maintain information that will feed into making better and more informed decisions including reports on legal risks assessments. •Review new legislation and raise findings to the Legal Advisor for action. •Follow up on employment contracts and ensure that they comply with government and company laws. •Research and review the legal terms of any partnership or M&A. •Provide support in drafting documents and handling contracts. •Assist various departments should they have any legal inquiries. •Provide legal assistance to the HR team when needed. •Contribute to the excellence of service delivery to internal/external clients in order to achieve company's overall mission. •Practice duties and roles in line with the authorities as illustrated in the authority matrix. •This covers the key responsibilities to be performed, but is not all inclusive. It does not preclude other responsibilities from being assigned and undertaken. Educational Qualifications & Certifications: •Normally a Bachelor degree in Law Experience: •Five years of relevant work experience in Legal Affairs and Research. KPAs: •Compliance with local, regional and international laws and regulations •Accurate legal contracts •Research Effectiveness •Speed and accuracy of response to queries and issues internally •Internal customer service satisfaction Skills : •Knowledge of local, regional and international laws and regulations •Written and verbal communication skills •Research and Analytical Thinking •Negotiation •Responsiveness •Time Management •Fluent in English and Arabic The State of Qatar has achieved, under the wise leadership of His Highness Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani the Emir of the State of Qatar and His Highness Skeikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani the Heir Apparent, many successes in all fields of development and progress, which placed Qatar in the forefront of countries proceeding in the way of growth and prosperity.
