Ref: KP643-77 Job Summary • Responsible for proactively soliciting and executing security systems sales and coordinate security systems sales activities by receiving, capturing and processing sales orders while coordinating with the Technical Services Division. • Support the Sales Manager in the preparation of the annual Sales Plan for Hemaya that is in line with its overall objectives. • Coordinate with the Technical Services Division on the security systems technical and commercial proposals to be submitted to the client. • Establish contacts with new clients and explain the various solutions and services offered by the Hemaya. • Maintain client relations and contact with potential / existing clients within various markets and keep abreast of developments within the client organizations in terms of development of their facilities and services where opportunities may arise or exist for providing security services and solutions. • Maintain up to date knowledge on the security systems technology and solutions available in the industry / market in relation to the product portfolio and its related systems handled. • Complete site surveys at client locations and brief the relevant team at Hemaya to enable them to prepare appropriate security systems technical designs and drawings to assist in the preparation of the proposals. • Prepare the security systems commercial proposal in coordination with the relevant team at Hemaya and submit to clients and conduct discussions and negotiations on the proposals submitted. • Solicit orders for security systems products and services as available within the product portfolio for Hemaya. • Participate in the negotiations with the clients in order to close the sale for Hemaya • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on security systems sales pipeline for Hemaya. • Compile security systems sales reports and maintain other records for use in generating reports for decision making. • Keep track of customer account payment status in liaison with Finance. • Suggest and implement process to improve Sales operations. • Contribute to the excellence of service delivery to internal/external clients in order to achieve Hemaya’s overall mission. • Practice duties and roles in line with the authorities as illustrated in the authority matrix. • This covers the key responsibilities to be performed, but is not all inclusive. It doesn’t preclude other responsibilities from being assigned and undertaken. Educational Qualifications & Certifications • Normally a Bachelor Degree in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering or related field. Certification of security system manufacturers Experience • Five years of relevant work experience in a Sales role within a Security Services Industry KPAs • Actual Sales Against Target • Sales Growth • Proposal Preparation • Number of Client Visits • Speed and accuracy of response to queries and issues internally and externally • Internal/external customer service satisfaction Skills • Knowledge of security systems and technologies (CTV, Access Control, Security Alarms etc..) • Security System design and drafting skills using Computer Aided Designs and softwares • Negotiation and Relationship Building Skills • Communication and interpersonal skills • Analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills • Computer literacy: MS windows applications (word processing, excel, spread sheets…) • Fluent in English and Arabic The State of Qatar has achieved, under the wise leadership of His Highness Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani the Emir of the State of Qatar and His Highness Skeikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani the Heir Apparent, many successes in all fields of development and progress, which placed Qatar in the forefront of countries proceeding in the way of growth and prosperity.
