Ref: LP127-546 Our client, a Gulf based bank, is a specialist in a range of areas. These include corporate advisory, asset management, structured and project finance and GCC capital markets activities.They are looking to build on successes from previous years. Our client is looking to hire an experienced Head of Compensations & Benefits for their Bahrain office. Key roles and responsibilities - Analyze compensation policies, government regulations and prevailing wage rates. - Design, evaluate and modify benefits policies. - Fulfill reporting requirements in accordance with relevant government regulations. - Prepare detailed job descriptions and classification systems. - Conduct job evaluations for staff to ensure fairness in salaries. - Identify and implement benefits to increase the quality of life for employees. - Develop tools to assist employees in benefits selection and to guide managers through compensation decisions. - Prepare budgets for personnel operations. - Develop and maintain records systems for staff. - University degree in business administration, organizational psychology or related social sciences - 5+ years work experience in recruitment management and development at an organization with at least 1,000 employees - Professional exposure to banking and the GCC region is a plus - Solid knowledge of local employment laws and regulations related to compensation and benefits - Excellent verbal and written command of English, good command of Arabic language is of advantage - Experience with the implementation of change programs in an internationally and culturally challenging environment Propel Consult delivers a service in step with the needs of both our client companies and candidates.
