Staff Nurse - RNLD or RMN Nursing jobs, Scotland Job ref:001SGN Salary: £23,000 to £27,000 per annumDate posted:4 March 2014Position type:PermanentStart Date:asap Location:ScotlandSector:Nursing Vacancy details Synergy group currently have a position for either a NQ nurse or experienced staff nurse to be part of a residential home for adults with learning disabilities and associated complex needs with or without a mental health problem, which offers care and support in a structured and therapeutic environment. The site is supported by specialist learning disability nurses and mental health nurses with easy access to appropriate clinical and therapeutic specialist support including psychiatry, psychology, speech and language and occupational therapies. The role As a Staff Nurse you will contribute to the effective and efficient day to day leadership and management of the service as directed by the Management team. You will participate in Communications, including dissemination of corporate communications, staff meetings etc. Clinical Supervision, Appraisal and Performance Management Staff Development (Including Continued Professional Development) and training Managing Positive Behaviour and Culture (ABC) within the service Administration and ensuring that information and reports relating to the service are provided to relevant parties in an accurate and timely fashion Medication management and safe working systems Undertake the role of Key Worker and in this role be involved with the direct supervision of staff You should be either RNLD qualified or RMN/RNMH with Learning Disabilities experience.
