Ref: OP202-02 Objective: To join busy office developing the family property portfolio both existing and new build. Main responsibilities: based on sites in the mornings and in the office in the afternoons. You will be monitoring progress on sites, identifying co-ordination issues, assisting in detailing (CAD experience essential) progress management and general project management. Attending site meetings, progress meetings, co-ordination meetings, monitoring construction ensuring that the client receives projects on time, to budget and with the high quality of build expected by the Technical Office Reporting to: General Manager and Manager Other interactions: Liaison with Government agencies and end users Number required: 1 Duration: permanent Desired start date: ASAP Probation: 3 months Working hours: Sunday - Wednesday full day, Thursday and Saturday half day Travel requirements: none Gross monthly base salary: Competitive and tax free Other Benefits: housing allowance, transport allowance, health insurance provided University Qualifications: BSc in Civil Engineering Other certifications obtained: Chartered Nature and length of previous experience: minimum of 8 years experience, GCC experience an advantage Specialist knowledge: CAD Soft Skills and Personality traits: enthusiasm, strong interpersonal skills we are a multinational office, commercial awareness. The development puts HBK Real Estate in the role of the Client’s Technical Office; including the preparation of project briefs, appointment of Consultants, ensuring necessary approvals obtained from Government departments, sign off on designs, tendering, contract administration and management through to completion and hand over of the project for operation. Once completed the projects are added to the portfolio and are managed in house. The team ensure much of the maintenance on the properties are carried out in house with our engineers and technicians ensuring the Owners receive value for money and a high standard of maintenance of the properties. HBK Real Estate manages the leasing of the properties (residential, offices and showrooms) and by providing the full turnkey of professional management ensures long term return on investment for the owners and long term tenants. HBK Real Estate bases its success on the solid construction background of the team all of whom have solid experience in Qatar and an understanding of design and requirements for the end users of the properties.
