DRC is implementing cash for work activities as part of a Social Cohesion Project being implemented in Aden City. The Cash for Work Supervisor will be responsible for planning, implementing and monitoring the cash for work activities, in consultation with the Project Manager and key staff. S/he will be tasked with ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the activities, and will act as a liaison between DRC, the local authorities and the beneficiaries. The CFW Supervisor will collect, manage and analyse all data relating to the project, including the beneficiary database, and will support the Project Manager and project staff in the development of reports and the implementation of M&E activities. The CFW Supervisor must have an understanding of protection issues, and also of the principle of impartiality.    Key Responsibilities •    In coordination with the other project staff design and plan cash for work activities •    Assist in the development of beneficiary selection criteria, and the beneficiary selection process  •    Oversee the implementation of the activities, providing beneficiaries with guidance and supervision •    Ensure the care and maintenance of the project equipment  •    Act as liaison between DRC, local authorities and beneficiaries •    Maintain project databases and produce timely, accurate reports as required by the Project Manager •    All other tasks as requested by supervisor   Essential Qualifications and Skills •    University degree in a relevant subject •    Minimum of two years experience with an NGO •    Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to establish effective working relations with beneficiaries and local international staff and other stakeholders •    Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel and other key IT tools •    Excellent problem solving abilities •    Ability to work under pressure •    High levels of honesty and integrity General •    Commitments: DRC has a Humanitarian Accountability Framework, outlining its global accountability committments.
