Ref: HP647-1106 This is a great opportunity to join a growing business (based in Angola) of a large reputable group. This newly created position will be reporting to the GM. You will participate in the development of the overall Company’s strategy and the formulation of the Company’s policies and procedures. You will coordinate, supervise and follow-up all financial, accounting and budgeting activities in the company and ensure that financial and management controls are exercised over the corporate trading and capital expenditures. Main responsibilities will include: 1.Participates in the development of the overall financial strategy. 2.Participates in the formulation of the financial policies and procedures. 3.Provides financial advice on the overall corporate financial position. 4.Translates the annual budgets into monetary terms and submits them to the GM - Finance/Administration/Operations for discussion and approval. 5.Prepares financial business plans and submits them for discussion and approval. 6.Coordinates and supervises all financial and accounting operations e.g. credits, expenditures, account collection, sales, purchasing etc… 7.Follows-up the comparative budgeting reports and recommends corrective action, as necessary, based on the actual results achieved 8.Ensures the proper implementation of the established Company’s policies and procedures in the most efficient manner and at the lowest cost. 9.Assists in and supervises the budget preparation of other departments. 10.Assists and advises the GM - Commercial on financial matters related to sales, pricing, sales representatives’ compensation etc… 11.Reviews the contracts prior to approbation to identify their financial impact on the corporate operations. 12.Conducts various financial and organizational studies..in order to analyze and suggest means for the optimal utilization of resources. 13.Coordinates with bankers, external auditors, financial institutions and insurance companies to resolve all corporate related matters following DGM – Finance/Administration/Operations approval. The successful applicant must be/have the following: Able to work in Angola MBA and/or professional Accounting qualification 8 years’ experience in a similar role with a reputable Manufacturing business Strong experience with implementing controls, setting budgets, forecasting & analysis Able to work independently and communicate effectively Excellent decision making skills Manpower is the global leader in contingent and permanent staffing, helping organizations and job seekers succeed by connecting the potential of people with the ambitions of business.
