Ref: HP881-935 This is an opportunity to join KEO Qatar in the role of Senior Mechanical Engineer and be a part of the Project Management and Construction Management Division. This is a site based role and the main functions will be to review and approve technical drawing submittals and coordinate with all engineering disciplines to deliver a world class medical project to KEO’s exacting quality standards. Preference will be given to qualified candidates who are able to demonstrate experience in the following: • Over 15 years Mechanical Engineering experience including site experience and construction supervision. • An understanding of effective mechanical inspection processes, technical submittals and drawing review. • Experience of hospital and medical projects and completion of high-rise or high-spec (luxury hotels) projects through all phases of build. • Capability to review design documents, provide technical guidance and support where required, assisting and contributing to relevant stakeholders, consultants, project managers, clients and contractors. • Excellent communication skills and the ability to develop and maintain successful client relationships. • Prior experience in the Gulf Region is preferred advantageous. Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Registration of a recognized Professional Engineering Board such as PE (Professional Engineer) or C.Eng (Chartered Engineer) is highly desirable.
