Ref: KP745-88 Country Brand Marketing Manager (FMCG) - Great Career & Financial Package Business Context and Main Challenges of the Job: • The Category Manager is the owner of the Category in the National Business Unit. • Leads the development of the national Brand Marketing Plan, within the category plan guidelines, to meet company goals • Leads a multifunctional team to implement the plan in the market place and monitors performance of the support plans. • Participates in various cross-functional teams – , Regional Brand Teams and externally with local support agencies such as PR, sponsorship, activation and channel. Main Accountabilities: • Leads integrated Brand Marketing Plan development and deployment: • Brand audit, Jobs to be done, Activity plans, Scorecards & in-market pricing. • Proposes brand activity and measurable objectives • Responsible for the brand P&L & help drive profitability of the brand. • With Customer Development, sets national level brand KPI’s and channel marketing strategy and identify relevant in-store solutions. • Engage with key customers alongside CD. • Leads the development of draft and final channel plans • Activates campaign ideas in the national market • Monitors brand performance to implement appropriate plan changes. • Responsible for Brand Communications: Checking translation of advertising into local language and adaptation to comply with local regulations, Activation advertising /tactical local copy, allocation of media budget within parameters, PR & Sponsorship. • Provides input to volume forecasting, financial updates and monitors key indicators and drivers of brand performance. Recommends solutions and implement improvements to meet annual targets. • Helps coaching of Brand Manager, and ABMs in Brand Building skills and competencies. INNOVATION & RENOVATION: Responsible for launch management; building launch plans and channel strategies (promotions and media), Customer sell-in and legal & regulatory issues.. Key Competencies: • Growth Mindset • Consumer & Customer Focus • Accountability & Responsibility • Building Talent & Teams Key Skills: • Understanding customers and shoppers. • Develops brand marketing plans that build equity and business. • Brand management experience on a multiple of FMCG brands / categories • Launches relevant innovation and relaunches , Marketing activation skills: • Creates/deploys integrated communication • Monitors progress and takes action • Good business understanding to translate commercial insights to business proposals • Core aspects underpinning all skills: Creativity, Empathy, Obsession with brands & consumers, Sense of Aesthetics, Analytical Thinking & Rigour. Essential Relevant Experience: • Minimum 5 to7 years relevant experience in FMCG Brand Building/Development.
