Ref: GP340-620 Leading retail giant in the Middle East requires an experienced Womenswear Buyer to join its busy Head Office based in Dubai.Key Responsibilities will include:· Driving the product strategy through original and innovative thinking and ensuring the product range leads the market· Liaising with both the buying and design teams to discuss strategy· Developing a range that exceeds brand values and taking responsibility for the product performance in terms of sales, distribution and marketing· Completing regular competitor visits in order to ensure you stay ahead of what key competitors are doing, whilst also identifying their key strengths and incorporating these with your own range· Managing a small teamTo be successful you must: · Be currently working as an experienced Buyer for a fashion retailer· Have experience across ladieswear, enabling you to build successful ranges that will meet and exceed the customers needs and expectations· Have leadership qualiti es, be approachable and be able to offer guidance to others within the team· Be commercial in your outlook, demonstrate sound financial understandings as well as customer focus and cost conscious· Have a hands-on approach and not be afraid to get involved within all areas of the buying processThis is an excellent role which offers a rewarding salary package to the successful candidate who will thrive on these challenges.
