Ref: OP065-03 A global leading Power Generation company is currently experiencing a period of rapid growth. This growth is being driven by their businesses in the Middle East and Africa. They are urgently recruiting a Power Plant Manager to run a site in Yemen. You will be the Power Plant Manager of a 60 MW diesel generator plant and ensure its continuing operational effectiveness. The responsibilities of the Power Plant Manager will include: • Maintain the care, custody, control and safe operation of a 60 MW Diesel Plant • Manage all health & safety, and regulatory requirements. • Ensure the plant remains operational through effective planned and preventative maintenance schedules (PPM) and effective breakdown procedures • Develop and implement procedures and systems for plant personnel to operate in a safe and high performing manner. The successful Power Plant Manager will meet the following requirements. • Experience of managing Diesel Generator plants of 60MW and over • Remote site experience • Electrical or Mechanical qualifications • Demonstrate experience of managing effective Health and Safety procedures • Managed teams of Commissioning Engineers and Maintenance Technicians within Power Plants You will be offered a salary of up to $8000 per month and an expat package.
