Ref: KP132-11 Role Summary/Purpose The role is within General Industry Business Segment with a focus on MENAT Region and aims at bringing to the Sales team the technical understanding of customer applications and the design of technical offers in link with Engineering, Sourcing and Manufacturing teams for Water & Process Industries (Water, Cement, Glass, Paper...) Essential Responsibilities - Support Sales in customer meetings to understand customer needs and explain Power Conversion technical offering - Define the appropriate technical solution for each customer offering - Define offering price and costing with support of key stakeholders (Engineering, Supply Chain…) - Provide Sales and customer with offering in time - Support Sales in all aspects of customer negotiations bringing a technical angle into the discussions - Ensure compliance culture in dealing with industry players - Interface with Application and Systems Engineering, Supply Chain - Obtaining deal approval through ITO process Qualifications/Requirements - Electrical background - Experience in design of complex technical system offers in an international environment - Fluent in English - Good knowledge of process industries is a plus - Willingness to travel within the region Desired Characteristics - Multicultural experience and interest - Technical rigor - Team work within a remotely managed organization - Negotiation ability GE is a diversified technology, media and financial services company, dedicated to creating products that make life better.
