Ref: GP932-608 Job Title: Technical Manager Location: Dubai - 40% to 50% travel throughout Saudi Arabia and other GCC countries Industry: Energy - Solar & Renewable Main Duties and Responsibilities: * Managing the technical parts of PV projects * Participating in technical sales PV projects * Being responsible for design and interface management * Performing technical contract negotiations with suppliers * Participating in the development and optimization of new solutions for PV installations * Planning and analyzing the strategy for project implementation * Participating as part of the project team on-site in PV installation activities * Studying technical feasibility of existing and planned PV Plants. * Preparation of Bids and Feasibility Studies * Participating in the negotiations with EPC contractors. * Supporting the IPP bidding projects, the PPA negotiations and the project development in general. Requirements: * Have experience of working on Energy Renewable Projects and have ideally experience of working within PV Projects. * Have an academic background, preferably in Mechanical, Electrical or Aerospace Engineering and 3-5 years of relevant experience in an technical advisory / engineering capacity. * Have experience of working on Energy Renewable Projects and have ideally experience of working within PV Projects. * Desirable experience in tenders process * Decisive and strong planning and facilitating skills. * Enthusiastic, result-oriented, customer focused, resourceful and creative. * Strong conceptual problem solving capabilities * Willing to travel. * Fluent in spoken and written English. * Desirable Fluent in spoken and written French In November 2010, GCC specialist recruiter, iQ selection came together with global professional recruitment consultancy Morgan McKinley, under the name Morgan McKinley.
