TITLE Account Manager - Basic £25K SELLING: Publishing / Legal Advice / Media SELLING TO: Partners, Senior Partners LOCATION: London PACKAGE: Basic £25K COMPANY INFORMATION - Our Client is a London-based publishing house established in 2002. - Working with the world's leading law firms producing Legal Guides in a series of annual reference books giving practical legal information on multiple jurisdictions in more than 30 practice areas. - Account Manager KEY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR ACCOUNT MANAGER - 3 Years plus Business Development experience - Full PTR - Polished - Articulate - Understanding of sales structure - Great stability and tenure - Understanding of a small business - Ideally a legal or information background - It is critical that you stand out from the crowd! ROLE INFORMATION FOR ACCOUNT MANAGER - Our clients are looking for immaculately presented sales professionals who capture their interest from the moment the interview starts. -You need to have a structure to the interview so questions around the role, company and contact you're meeting are a MUST. - Your consultant here at CD will guide you on all of these points and assist you with ideas on how to qualify and gain commitment. - It is essential that you can show evidence of achievement in terms of sales figures, commissions and possibly client testimonials. - Lack of preparation is preparation to fail! - Most important of all is letting the contact know how you feel. They need to know that you are the most committed sales person they will meet. - In this role you will be given a set jurisdiction to work on - Currently 33 Publications per year, set to increase to 37 of which you will be working on 6 - 90% Telephone based however it may involve travel and meetings - 100% New business role - Point of contact being Senior Partners and Marketing of top low firms - Sales Cycle - 1 week - Targeted on 250k revenue per year, 20 new pitches per week of which you should be closing 2 - Also running events/conferences in which you will be selling sponsorship and delegate spaces - Account Manager Candidates must be eligible to work and live in the UK.
