Job Title Finance Officer Location Taiz Job Title of Immediate Supervisor Field Site Manager- Finance Director Job Titles of Persons Supervised Cashier Responsibilities: • Cash and bank management in consultation with the Finance Manager • Review procurement documents before payment and make sure it is in accordance with organization guidelines and donor’s rules and procedures. • To review and verify all payments and receipts including supporting documentation. • Preparation of site Staff payroll and timely submission of the statutory deductions to relevant government bodies. • Assist in budget preparation for FD and HQ review. • Prepare monthly cash flow and cash requests for field site according to availability of fund and with close follow up with main office and submit it to them • To maintain and monitor the national staff advances register. • To review the field accounting reports and record them in financial system including monthly cash reconciliation for the field site • Preparation, monitoring and analysis of monthly reports and grants including input into financial system and calculation of average exchange rates for the site, for review by the Finance Manager. • Prepare monthly key of allocation and share it with respective staff. • Monthly backup • Reconciliation of various records, investigating unusual items and bringing these to the prompt attention of the Finance Director. This includes reconciliation of field records, with main office. • Keeping updated financial reports in files. • Assist with audits of various sites and functions as needed. This is to include field visits to various sites, and training of staff per audit schedule/plan. • Other relevant duties as assigned by the supervisor. Minimum requirement: • University Degree in Business administration ( preferable accounting ) • English Language skills – advanced level • Advanced Computer skills ( Ms.word - Excel) - Financial software is an asset. • 2- 3 years of experience.
