IHUK is looking for Female Yemeni nationals to recruit for the following position: Office Assistant      Location: Country Office – Sana’a Contract duration: One year.    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES of the Office Assistant: •    Answers multi-line telephone system, takes accurate messages and transfers telephone calls to the appropriate person in an efficient manner.  •    Greets and screens incoming visitors in a professional manner and promptly notifies appropriate personnel of their arrival.  •    Set up meetings and track appointments  •    Prepare invitations and ensure they are promptly dispatched with agendas or other related materials.  •    Hotel reservations •    Manage time , attendance , leave schedules •    Receives, sorts, and distributes incoming mail and prepares outgoing mail in a time.  •    Operates standard office equipment to include: multi-line telephone system, postage machine/scale, facsimile machine, computer/printer, and photocopy machine.  •    Filing, scanning, faxing, as well as typing specific documentation •    Maintain confidentiality  •    Working as part of the team, assisting with Centre functions/meetings and participating in teambuilding/planning days •    Manage and maintain office supplies and staff amenities. •    Other duties as required by Management Committee. Skills / Requirements Education: •    Business / Management Degree or related field. •    One to two years  experience is required •    Excellent communication skills •    Maintain image of the Organization  •    Ability to multi-task •    Good time management skills •    Effective and efficient telephone, written and electronic communication skills •    Accurate typing skills and ten-key by touch •    Good analytical abilities •    Proficiency with PC's and computer programs including Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat •     Strong knowledge of general office procedures and office equipment Application Process Interested candidates should apply with the CV and cover letter sent to [email protected] by 20 February 2014 See "Application process" above
