JOB DESCRIPTION Position Title: Technical and logistic assistance  Project:  Bio Engagement Program- Livestock for Life- Fighting Zoonoses in Yemen Duty Station: Taiz and Al-Hodiedah Governorates No. of candidates required: 2 ( one in Taiz and one in Al- Hodiedah) Project Duration: 3 months (extendable)  About RI:  Relief International (RI) is Relief International is a humanitarian non-profit agency that provides emergency relief, rehabilitation, development assistance, and program services to vulnerable communities worldwide. Relief International is solely dedicated to reducing human suffering and is non-political and non-sectarian in its mission.    Project Summary:   Relief International is implementing Bio-Engagement Livestock for Life Project in selected governorates in Yemen. The project aims to establish a coordination mechanism between the target community and government line agencies to increase awareness and capacities to minimize the disease transfer between livestock and human.  Position Summary:   The logistic assistance will be directly working with project team in the field and RI office in Taiz / al hudyadah Governorates to implement, improve the logistic issue. As well as ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the project logistically and technically. Tasks and Duties: •    Follow up the purchase requisitions/order orders of BEP program  •    Assist in establishing and maintaining a follow-up system of tracking deliveries and contractors payments schedule •    Work on budget development and monitoring if needed; •    Maintaining inventory list and assessment of  project assets •    Assist in all BEP cash expensive and clearance •    Ensure timely follow up actions to fix clearance errors at the field level •    Assist in preparing the closely with the project manager, procurement officers and finance Department to implement, improve and maintain logistic, procurement, financial policies, systems, structures, and procedures •    Undertake special services as requested by his/her supervisor.   •    Assist in implementing meetings, workshops etc…  •    Ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the project logistic, procurement and financial affairs   •    Works with the Project RFFs of the BEP program •    Prepare budget revisions in close coordination with Project Manager and Finance Manager when necessary •    Assist the procurement officer to implement some related activities.  •    Translate documents between Arabic and English and arrange translation for larger documents •    Other duties as required by the project manager QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:  Education: University degree in related work. Experience: Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in working in the same capacity with NGO will be preferred.  Other: Fluency in Arabic, Very Good written and spoken English ability. Detail-oriented and able to work independently. Yemeni citizenship, or work permit is required, candidate from the same areas will be preferable.
