Robert Half is working with a financial services organization that is based in Dubai. They are looking for a Manager in Risk Management Services. Key Responsibilities * Lead a team of GRC Consultants in the delivery of GRC Services to financial service providers (planning, oversight, first line trouble-shouting and first line complaint handling); * Manage the development. implementation and maintenance of our external risk management framework (policies, procedures, systems and controls, risk management reporting); * Fulfil on a part-time basis the risk management function at senior management/responsible officer level for several DFSA/FSRA regulated financial service providers; * Act as the risk management business partner within the GRC Services Team and work closely with the responsible business development individuals to support the sales efforts of our risk management services; * Provide internal and external risk management training; * Represent Vistra towards local authorities and regulators; * Enhance, optimize and implement workflow/system/operating procedures as appropriate; continuously seek synergy and process improvement opportunities; * Lead, develop and motivate team members for a high performing, motivated and professional team The Candidate * Able to combine a specialized risk management and team management role while maintaining a very hands-on approaching paying close attention to details; * Proven knowledge of market, credit and operational risk concepts and exposure calculation; * Proven experience in ICAAP and IRAP reporting; * Fit and proper in accordance with DFSA/FSRA requirements; * Strong sense of professional integrity; * A strong team player with good communication and people management skills in a dynamic, fast-changing environment * A minimum of 10 years' relevant experience in financial services, preferably gained in risk management related activities; * Proven experience in acting as a risk manager/specialist to senior management; * Track record of achievement in operations related management advantageous; * Registration with DFSA/FSRA for compliance officer and/or risk management functions. * University graduate with qualified risk management qualifications * Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and online risk management tools Languages * Excellent command of both written and spoken English - Founded in 1948, Robert Half International Inc.
