ZOA is a faith-based international non-governmental organization with its head office in the Netherlands. ZOA has been working in Sudan since 2004. Its current focus is on post-conflict recovery and rehabilitation and operates programmes in South Darfur, East Darfur, North Darfur and Gedaref state, covering the sectors of food security & livelihoods, water & sanitation, education and peace building. Cashier (Khartoum) The position is based in ZOAs country office in Khartoum ·           Ensure that all the financial transactions are properly recorded in the cash and bank sheet. ·         Ensure complete and proper documentation for all financial transactions. ·         Ensure that all administrative procedures are handled according to the Finance Manual. ·         Filing documents of all financial transactions in an orderly and standardized way. ·         Calculate monthly salaries and organize payments of salaries. ·         Facilitate payments or transfers by bank. ·         Prepare and make day to day cash payments. ·         Keep the weekly cash count up to date and monthly the bank reconciliation. ·         Replacement of Cashier in field offices temporarily in case of illness or annual leave. ·         Book commercial and WFP flights. ·         Purchase regular office supplies. ·         Proven working experience of 3 years in the relevant field. ·         Minimum education: certificate or degree in Accounting. ·         Affinity with development work and international NGO’s. ·         Fluent in Arabic in reading, writing and speaking. ·         Good knowledge of English in reading, writing and speaking. ·         Excellent knowledge of computers (accounting systems, Excel, Word). ·         Good numerical skills. ·         Accuracy. ·         Reliable Personality. ·         Service oriented attitude but a hardliner when it comes to keeping up to our administrative procedures. The Assistant Logistic Officer position is in scale G, ranging from SDG 1.854 – SDG 2.749 per month.
