Manage all operations related to Community-Based Child Protection and Psychosocial Support in Zaatari Camp according to the work plan, budget and implementation strategy Review and update work plan throughout the project in cooperation with the project team and UNICEF Monitor and pro-actively track and manage project budget Initiate all procurement and tender processes related to the project in coordination with Procurement team in compliance with Mercy Corps policies and procedures Work closely with Senior Child Protection Specialists to develop appropriate methodologies, materials and training Oversee and provide guidance on all project components, including community based Child Protection Committees (CPCs), community events, parents training and CFS/AFS recreational and psycho-social activities Recruit, provide oversight, support and capacity building to the project and CFS/AFS teams in compliance with Mercy Corps human resource policies and procedures Coordinate and manage relationships with the stakeholders of the project, including beneficiaries, contractors, partners, local government and other organisations Document all program activities, achievements and challenges in monthly and final reports and by any other means as requested by the donor Participate in relevant coordination meetings and working groups, specific coordination meetings Provide guidance and technical support to relevant Mercy Corps Emergency Response projects Act as focal point for security in the camps, develop and introduce  security protocols for all the sites Get familiar and follow Mercy Corps Program Management Minimum Standards Conduct himself/herself both professionally and personally in such a manner as to bring credit to Mercy Corps and to not jeopardize its humanitarian mission. Other duties as assigned. A university degree in Management, International Development, or other related field At least 5 years' experience in project management in complex emergency or relief context Experience with local and/or international NGOs Experience in child protection, youth development, psycho-social programs Fluent in both Arabic and English Strong verbal and written communications skills Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Word Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to Azraq/Amman Deep commitment to humanitarian principles and values Willingness to learn new skills and methodologies Ability to work under pressure, independently and with limited supervision Demonstrated creative problem-solving skills Security, political and cultural aware Highly developed interpersonal communication skills Demonstrated decision-making and leadership skills and excellent time management capacities Experience in all phases of project management.
