Oxfam is an international confederation of 17 organizations networked together in more than 90 countries, as part of a global movement for change, to build a future free from the injustice of poverty. OXFAM is looking for dynamic and ambitious employees to take on a new and exciting position within its programme in Zaatari camp and communities hosting Syrian refugees. To manage, coordinate and lead in the implementation of Oxfams WASH, food security and protection programming in the host communities ensuring programme quality, community participation and consultations. We are looking for a candidate with at least five years experience of emergency work with an NGO, preferably in the sectors of WASH and cash programming. To implement the public health engineering and promotion components of the Oxfam humanitarian programme. The work that will be undertaken will involve assessment planning and implementation of public health programmes in line with the Oxfam's strategy in Jordan. The candidate we are looking for should have a professional qualification in either water or sanitation engineering or in another public health related profession, backed by at least 5 years of practical experience. To provide logistical technical support to Oxfam GB's Emergency response programme in Amman, Mafraq, Zarqa, Salt, Baqa'a, Safout Ain Al Basha, Jawwa and Jordan Valley. This may include: procurement and delivery planning, methods and channels, capacity building for national logistics team and partners' logistics teams. We are looking for a candidate with at least five years supervisory experience in logistics in NGO field operations. To campaign with others for an effective humanitarian response to the Syrian crisis and an end to the suffering of Syrian people. To drive Oxfam's policy work and analysis on the Syria crisis campaign in Jordan and contribute to the regional and global policy work.
