HR Manager Khartoum 8000 – 13000 SDG World Vision seeks a qualified HR Practitioner to fill the position of HR Manger. The successful applicant will develop and manage human resource systems and processes that guide and motivate staff to actively contribute to the work of World Vision in Sudan. Specifically, the successful candidate will be tasked with the following responsibilities: ·           Organization Development and Strategic Initiatives: Assist the Country Director in creating effective organization structure that will support the overall program strategies of WV Sudan. ·         Design, develop and review Human resource policies, procedures and systems. Prepare Human Resources Strategic Plans (short, medium and long term). ·         Establish performance management system and collaborate with line managers to lead and facilitate the process of performance management. ·         Recruitment and retention of highly engaged individual into World Vision. ·         Training and Staff Development: Oversee staff development and ensure that staffs are trained and fully competent in their current positions and are deployable to other positions as opportunities occur. ·         Compensation and Benefits Management: Ensure that the compensation package of World Vision remains competitive and relevant by constantly reviewing the grading structure and salaries and aligning them to the market. Establish a reward and recognition system that promotes higher performance. ·         Employee Relations: Manage staff relations and disciplinary issues with the relevant government bodies, and local legal Counsel. ·         Representation and Networking: Represent WV Sudan in HR related matters to other NGOs and branches of the government of Sudan. Develop linkages with like organizations to share access to resources and to keep in tune with changes in HR environment, responsibilities and best practices. ·         Staff Care: Review and facilitate staff care programs. ·         University degree in HR management or related field ·         At least 5-10 years human resource management experience of which 3 should have been at providing ·         Leadership at a strategic level to a HR and Country Team ·         Field experience in developing country ·         Direct experience in coaching and mentoring staff ·         Strong organizational and management skills ·         Excellent English communication skills (oral and written) ·         Cross-cultural sensitivity, flexible worldview, emotional maturity ·         Ability to work in and contribute to team building environment ·         Ability to exhibit exemplary lifestyle as interpreted in specific local cultural context ·         Experience in working in interfaith contexts and advantage Qualified Sudanese women will have an added advantage All application should submitted to Labor Office HAC not later than December 12th 2013
