We seek a highly motivated and competent professional with a strong sense of integrity and personal commitment to fill in the position of Financial Officer based in Elfasher. S/He will be reporting to Senior Financial Accountant. The Financial Officer will be responsible for direct managerial of finance support services function in the areas of business planning processes, accounting, budget monitoring, financial analysis and reporting, internal financial controls, participating in monitoring the processes related to partners and communities including training and assessment, also providing full support to Finance and program teams in the finance functions, some of its major responsibilities include: Reviewing and monitoring Darfur budget, Facilitating the effective use of Plan Sudan financial resources from updating the cash forecast in monthly basis and making sure that it is done according to updates and approved work plans; Monitoring and reviewing monthly bank reconciliations, monthly period ends; Preparing and sharing the monthly budget monitoring report with the SFA and appropriate projects Managers, Performing the year-end processes, Promoting internal financial control, mechanism and systems. The post on a fixed contract for one year, salary is 4048 SDG In addition to the salary, Plan offers a generous package of benefit and different allowances including health insurance. Plan also pays additional three months basic salary every year to staff during key festivals and in the month when school starts in Sudan.
